More In-Person School Days Update

Secondary In-Person Learning Days

I am happy to remind you that Middle and High School student cohorts in the Hybrid Learning Model will come together on Monday, March 1 when they will begin attending school jointly, in-person 4 days per week (Wednesday will remain virtual).  It is our intention to transition to 5 days per week of in-person learning if COVID-19 infection rates remain low after a few weeks.

Elementary In-Person Learning Days

Since elementary cohorts joined and attended school in-person together 4 days per week beginning last week, we have not had a single new positive case of COVID-19 reported. In fact, we have not reported a new positive case in over 30 days. It is our intention to transition to 5 days per week of in-person learning if COVID-19 infection rates remain low after a few weeks.  The School Board is meeting on Wednesday to consider this topic, among others.

Face Mask Requirements

All students and staff shall continue to wear a mask at school, including on buses. Parent cooperation on this matter is crucial to our continued success and our ongoing push to get all students back in-person full-time (OOLA students notwithstanding). Additional details pertaining to mask-wearing can be found within the MDHHS order.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

We’ve placed a link in the Quick Links section of our website homepage to register for elementary parent-teacher conferences virtually. Please sign up if you haven’t already! A link for secondary parents will be posted in the same place once registration opens.
