New Year Message – 2021

Hello Eagle Nation and welcome to 2021! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday break!   I have a few brief reminders as students get back to school tomorrow.

  1. The second semester does not start until February 1st so we will be continuing our first-semester learning models through January.  Please note, changes for a student whose parent opted them in/out of OOLA, will not take place until the second semester.
  2. All students enrolled in the Oakridge Online Learning Academy (aka OOLA), will obviously be continuing their online learning.  All other pre-school – 12th-grade students will be learning via the Hybrid Learning Model based on the cohort they are enrolled for the first semester.   The school calendars for both the Hybrid and OOLA Learning Models can be found on our website by clicking on ‘calendars’ under quick links.
  3. As we wait for vaccinations to be available and safety protocols to loosen, we will be teaching and learning via these same learning models until otherwise notified.
  4. While Covid rates have improved in Muskegon County, we are still following MDHHS and local health department orders to mask-up, stay 6 feet apart, and routinely wash our hands.

We look forward to seeing kids online or in our classrooms tomorrow.  Happy New Year!   We have a lot of hope and ambition for 2021!
