Online Registration – Step 1 (Set Up Parent Portal)

Every year, parents/guardians have had to fill out many time-consuming paper-based forms, and submit them to the school during the student enrollment/registration process. We are excited to announce a new Online Student Registration Process! Parents/guardians of returning Oakridge students will be asked to complete this process through their PowerSchool Parent Portal before the end of the school year in June.

3 Step Registration Process for Returning Oakridge Students

The process to register a returning Oakridge student for the 2019/20 school year has three steps. Some parents have already completed the first step, which is to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal. This step needs to be done before you can move on to Step 2, which will begin on May 1, 2019.

Step 1: Set up your PowerSchool Parent Portal by May 1, 2019

  • If you already have a Parent Portal and know how to log in, you can skip Step 1 and wait for instructions in May for Step 2.
  • If you have a Parent Portal, but cannot remember your user name or password, please click on the link “PowerSchool Parent Portal Login Request”. Fill out the form and submit your information. An Oakridge staff member will reach out with next steps. Please have your PowerSchool Parent Portal set up before May 1, 2019.
  • If you’re a parent/guardian that has never set up a PowerSchool Parent Portal, you should have received a letter in the mail with instructions to set up your parent portal.  If that is not the case, please contact your student’s building office for instructions. Please have your PowerSchool Parent Portal set up before May 1, 2019.

 

Step 2: Complete the Online Returning Student Registration beginning May 1, 2019

In April, you will receive a Step 2 Communication with instructions on how to complete the new online returning student registration process. While the registration method and deadline will be different, the information you (as parents/guardians) provide will be no different than previous years.

Step 3: Back to School Events

We will still be holding our Back to School events (Kinder Camp, Open Houses, and Kickstart Registration). You will receive your invitation to your student’s event(s) in August.
