Monday, May 15, 2017
A big thank you goes out to the parents and members of the Oakridge Youth Football Club, who recently donated a generous $6,000 towards replacing our failing 20+ year old scoreboard that stands over Jack Schugars Field in Russell A Erickson Stadium.
Replacement parts are no longer available to repair the scoreboard leaving replacement our only option. The District is planning to replace the scoreboard before the start of the Fall sports schedule begins so fans can have a pleasurable experience attending games.
The Youth Football Club raised funds through their yearly cookie dough fundraiser, as well as their end of season football tournament. The Club is proud to raise money, not only for their Youth Football Club, but also for the local community as well.
The District is accepting additional donations towards this purchase. Please contact Superintendent Tom Livezey at 788-7108 or firstname.lastname@example.org OR Athletic Director Gene Gifford at 788-7325 or email@example.com .
Thank you so much!
