2019 Snowcoming Information

This year, the High School is combining Snowcoming Spirit Week Days with the Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign. Due to the snow day school cancelations these past few weeks, the schedule of Snowcoming has changed a little bit. Festivities will kick off on Friday, Feb 8th and continue into the week of Feb 11-14. 

Here is a list of the themes and activities throughout the week:

  • Friday, February 8 – PJ’s & Pennies – students will wear pajamas and donate at least a penny to their 5th hour Pennies for Patients to be counted.
  • Friday, February 8 – FREE Oakridge Student Admission to the Girls Basketball games!
  • Friday, February 8 – SNOWCOMING DANCE (8:30 pm – 11:00 pm)
  • Monday, February 11 – Neon and Nickels – students will wear neon colors and donate at least a nickel to their 5th hour Pennies for Patients to be counted.
  • Tuesday, February 12 – Memes and Dimes – students will dress up using their favorite MEME and donate at least one dime to their 5th hour Pennies for Patients box to be counted.
  • Wednesday, February 13 – Class Color and Quarters – Students will dress up in their class color and donate at least a quarter to their 5th hour Pennies for Patients box to be counted and get a cupcake!
  • Thursday, February 14 – Blue and White and Loose Change Day – students will wear blue and white and donate whatever loose change (any amount counts) to be counted for spirit day.
  • Pep Assembly 5th and 6th Hour on Thursday along with the Talent Show.
