ECSE Preschool

Early Childhood Special Education Preschool is for Oakridge students ages 3-5 who have special needs.

These needs may be speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy and more.

Eastern Services Unit

The Eastern Service Unit is a Consortium comprised of Fruitport, Oakridge, Orchard View, and Ravenna.

The Special Education Department provides leadership to meet the needs of students with disabilities, collaboration with each district to provide access to high quality programming and supports for students with disabilities. Administrative support occurs with the referral process and extends to diagnostics.

Services available to eligible students include: psychological services, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and language therapy. Programs for our youngest learners include infant / toddler home-based supports and early childhood special education preschool (ECSE).

Programs for our school aged students include resource room, categorical and regional programs. Programs and services are determined by the individual needs of the student.
