Thursday, March 29, 2018
The Oakridge Middle school SXI classroom students have been working hard on a life skills transition project.
To complete this we have had the help of a few great fellow Oakridge middle school students. In order to complete the project the students have learned how to sand, paint, use a screwdriver with assistance, put in lights and put in flowers.
On our outings the students have assisted with finding all the supplies that we have needed for our project. We shopped at a variety of places such as Menards for the wood, Hobby Lobby for the flowers, and Wal-mart.
These projects are now complete and for sale in the SXI classroom the middle school. If you would like one please contact Jennifer Jackson at 231-788-7433 or emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be back at school April 9th to pick them up in the classroom.
