Mobile Dentist

Dental decay (cavities) is the most common, chronic disease of childhood affecting 59% of 5-17 year old children.

It is five times more common than asthma. While tooth decay is one of the most preventable diseases, the need for dental care is the most common unmet need among school aged kids. Oral pain can impact a child’s learning, sleeping and eating which can lead to decreased school performance and poor social relationships.

At Hackley Community Care our mission is to support and promote our patient’s total health with quality, integrity, respect and compassion. We are happy to announce we are partnering with your child’s school to offer preventative dental services to your child! We will come on-site to provide a dental exam and x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment and sealants if your child has permanent molars. This program replaces your child’s regular check-ups at a dental office. Participation in this program can affect your child’s dental insurance benefits. While there is no charge to you for these services, Hackley Community Care will bill your dental insurance if your child has coverage. Your child will be given a “report card” after each visit stating what treatment was provided and follow up recommendations. Follow-up care can be provided at one of our sites if your child needs a dental home. Virtual students are welcome to register for this program! We will provide you with a day and appointment time for your child to be seen on the van.

If you would like your child to participate in this program, please signup for the Mobile Dental Sign Up. If we do not have a current HCC consent form on file we will contact you to get this form completed before we are able to see your child.

If you have any questions, please contact Lindsey Hoffman, RDH, BSDH at 231-733-6680.
