Muskegon Healthy Families What is Healthy Families? Healthy Families is a free support program for pregnant women and new parents offering home visits by caring, experienced Family Support Workers, referrals to community resources and medical services, and parent support and activity groups. Muskegon Healthy Families believes All families have strengths. Building upon these strengths allows families to make positive changes in their lives. Preventing Problems now is better than trying to fix them later. This is especially true when it comes to your children. Parenting is the toughest, yet most important job anyone will ever have. All parents need support and encouragement as they care for their children. Who is eligible for services? If you are pregnant, or if your baby is 3 months old (or younger), you may be eligible for Muskegon Healthy Families. There is no charge for these services. Your Family Support Worker may work with your family until your child turns 3 years old. What can a Family Support Worker do for my family?
