Principal's Page
Hello, Eagle Nation!!
My name is Clayton Breiler and I’m excited to be the principal of Oakridge Upper Elementary School. I am a graduate of Central Michigan University (Fire-up Chips!). I also have a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. I began teaching fifteen years ago in Holly Springs, NC where I taught fourth and sixth grade. We then moved to Pentwater, MI where I taught sixth grade. Finally, I’m coming to you from Fremont, MI where I have taught fifth grade the last six years. All of these experiences have led to this opportunity here in the Oakridge community. My beautiful wife’s name is Chrissylynn, we have been married for a little over a year. Together we have four children. Our girls are Emma who is 13 and Allyson who will be 11 in December. Our boys are Morgan who will be 11 in October and Henry who is 8 ½. I love going on adventures with family and checking things off of my bucket list.
This is going to be an awesome year at Oakridge Upper Elementary. One thing remains true: WE ARE AWESOME! That is the theme of our building this year. I have a strong desire for every student, parent, and staff member to feel welcome, appreciated, and an integral part of the OUE team. We cannot conquer this year alone. Personally, I plan to be visible, approachable, and ultimately a part of the Wolf Lake Community. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting each of you in the coming days!
