Goodbye Carr School - we appreciate the memories!

  • In 1900 approximately 70 studens were enrolled in Carr School.  The teacher in 1900 was Frank Hindes who worked or a monthly salary of $18.00.  In 1912 the Carr School District was bonded for $350.00 to erect a 16x24x10 building on the every edge of the SW corner of Apple Ave and Carr Rd.   • Because of overcrowding, the school board decided to construct the present two room building.
