PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports

Oakridge Pride is our districtwide PBIS theme to focus students and staff on evidence based practices to create a respectful, responsible, and safe environment.  We operates these practices through our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).

Tier 1

Social Emotional and Behavioral Supports

Tier one supports are available to all students in a particular building within our district. Tier 1 supports include the teaching and learning of Safe, Responsible and Respectful behavior expectations in and out of the classrooms. Our students are acknowledged for their PRIDE behaviors through PRIDE tickets, Eagle shout outs, and classroom acknowledgements. Our staff is always looking to teach, re-teach, support and acknowledge our students in living out EAGLE PRIDE. 

Tier 2

Targeted supports for groups of students

Tier 2 supports are available to groups of students who benefit from additional intervention. Tier 2 teams exist in each building and consist of Oakridge mental health staff, administrators and our community partners; HealthWest and Hackley Community Care. 

Tier 3

Individualized and wrap around supports are provided for students and families as determined by the building level teams.
