Bloomz Communication App

Oakridge Public Schools has adopted a communication platform/app called Bloomz!   While not required, we encourage parents to download and register to use the app.

If you DON'T register for a Bloomz account...you will continue to receive district and school building communication (including snow day notices).  There is nothing you are required to do to continue receiving email/text messages.  Do note that we will no longer send voice call messages.  

If you DO register for a Bloomz account...you will be able to to change settings and utilize cool features.  We encourage you to download the Bloomz App from the notification message coming to you soon.  Once you do, you can customize your experience including the following:

• Choose how to receive notifications: email, text, or app
• Choose your preferred language; Bloomz supports over 133 languages for automatic, 2-way translation
• Receive district, school, and classroom communication
• Send private messages to teachers, and more. 

Don’t worry, you can still call or email school personnel! All school contact information is on our website at https://oakridgeschools.org/contact-us . Bloomz simply provides us a more efficient and modern way to communicate with parents/guardians and the community. 

Your student's teacher or school may send follow up information on their usage of Bloomz.
